Whale Watching with Ric O’Barry & Dolphin Project | Eagle Wing Tours

Experience Five Hours of Wildlife, Education, and Conservation on the Salish Sea

This October, Eagle Wing Tours invites you to join a once-in-a-lifetime whale watching experience with the legendary Ric O’Barry and Dolphin Project. Over the course of five hours, guests will explore the breathtaking Salish Sea aboard one of our semi-covered, state-of-the-art catamarans, and enjoy memorable wildlife sightings with humpback whales, Bigg’s killer whales, seals and sea lions, and a variety of seabirds.

Ric O’Barry, renowned for his decades-long dedication to dolphin conservation, will join the tour alongside members of the Dolphin Project team and our expert naturalists. Together, they’ll engage with guests, sharing stories and insights about Dolphin Project’s mission and global efforts while deepening your connection to the incredible marine life of the Salish Sea.

Tours depart promptly at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, and Sunday, October 19, and are limited to 50 guests per tour, ensuring a small-group, personal adventure. Each guest will receive a complimentary professional photo package and a limited-edition T-shirt commemorating the tours, making the day as memorable as it is meaningful.

For those attending both tours, special access is included to an evening with Ric O’Barry and Dolphin Project’s team at the Parkside Hotel, featuring behind-the-scenes insights and a small-group Q&A session. This is an opportunity to hear directly about global dolphin conservation efforts and gain a unique perspective on ongoing projects.

Beyond the incredible wildlife sightings, these tours support a vital cause: 100% of proceeds (excluding the wildlife fee and fuel surcharge) are donated directly to Dolphin Project, helping to protect dolphins and their habitats worldwide. With Ric O’Barry and the Dolphin Project team onboard alongside Eagle Wing’s expert naturalists, guests can expect meaningful conversations that go beyond the surface, offering rare insights into global conservation efforts.

Whether you are a wildlife enthusiast, a family seeking an engaging outdoor adventure, or a traveller looking for an eco-conscious and unforgettable experience, this tour offers an exclusive way to explore Victoria’s waters while supporting marine conservation.

Book your tour today for October 18 or 19 and create memories that last a lifetime.
