8:30 AM — Morning Whale Watching Tour with Eagle Wing

Location: Fisherman’s Wharf

Start your day with the experience Victoria is famous for: whale watching on the Salish Sea. Our morning tours offer ideal conditions for spotting marine wildlife—often including humpbacks, killer whales, seals, sea lions, porpoise, and marine birds.

Check in at our office on Fisherman’s Wharf and meet your crew. We’ll get you layered up if needed, then take you on a memorable adventure through the coastal waters we call home.

Pro tips:

  • Dress in layers. It’s always cooler on the water.
  • Bring a reusable water bottle and a fully charged camera or phone.
  • Book your seat online at eaglewingtours.com

12:30 PM — Lunch at Fisherman’s Wharf

Location: Fisherman’s Wharf

After your tour, you won’t have to go far to find a great meal. Step off the boat and explore the colourful eateries at Fisherman’s Wharf—just a few steps from the Eagle Wing Tours dock.

As an EWT guest, you’ll enjoy 10% off with your tour ticket (ice cream and alcohol excluded), making it an easy and tasty way to refuel without leaving the waterfront.

For a truly sustainable choice, head to The Fish Store, known for serving Ocean Wise–certified, responsibly caught seafood right on the dock. Try their famous halibut tacos or a fresh salmon burger while enjoying the harbour views.

2:00 PM — Stroll the Inner Harbour and Visit the Royal BC Museum

Just across the street is the Royal BC Museum, a must-visit for history buffs or anyone curious about British Columbia’s Indigenous cultures, natural history, and biodiversity. The museum is currently undergoing major renovations, but several exhibits remain open, including highlights of British Columbia’s natural and human history.

4:00 PM — Explore Beacon Hill Park

Next, head to Beacon Hill Park, a 200-acre public green space filled with ponds, flower gardens, tall trees, and even a few peacocks. Stroll the forested trails, visit the rose garden, or follow the oceanside paths along Dallas Road for sweeping views of the Salish Sea.

It’s one of Victoria’s most beloved outdoor spaces—perfect for a relaxed walk, quiet reflection, or a scenic break before dinner.

6:00 PM — Dinner at Ferris’ Grill & Garden Patio

Location: 536 Yates Street

For dinner, make your way back toward downtown and grab a table at Ferris’, a locally owned restaurant known for fresh oysters, elevated comfort food, and a great garden patio. It’s a go-to for locals and visitors alike, and the laid-back vibe makes it easy to unwind after a full day out.

Try the seafood linguine or the Ferris’ burger—both are consistent favourites.
