🏆 TripAdvisor Best of the Best 2026 — Named #2 Experience in Canada
At Eagle Wing Tours, we’re more than a company that takes you out to watch whales. Much more—we’re a conservation organization that happens to offer world-class whale watching tours.
We’re a recognized leader in conservation tourism. Everything we do revolves around raising environmental awareness and inspiring change. Through the power of experiential travel, we bring the rich biodiversity of the Salish Sea to life, creating emotional connections between our guests and the natural world.
Our goal? To inspire you to reflect on your environmental footprint, make more sustainable choices, and become a passionate advocate for ocean conservation—no matter where you live!
Our commitment to positive environmental change goes beyond the magic of experiential tourism, wildlife sightings and adventure on the water. We’ve built our entire business around four core areas of focus—our 4 Pillars—which drive our
programs and initiatives. They’re all focused on a more vibrant and healthy planet.
We support and invest in initiatives that protect marine ecosystems and endangered wildlife, ensuring long-term ecological resilience in the Salish Sea.
As Canada’s first 100% carbon-neutral whale watching company and the world's first Biosphere Certified marine ecotour operator, we’re committed to reducing our impact and leading the industry with climate-conscious operations. We proudly support 1% for the Planet and have earned multiple national and international sustainability certifications and awards.
Our custom vessels serve as platforms for marine science. We conduct and support independent research, data collection, and monitoring programs that contribute to the broader understanding and protection of marine life.
Among our many outreach activities, we run an award-winning ocean education program that connects thousands of local students each year to the ocean just beyond their doorstep. Our tours, led by marine biologists and certified naturalists, also educate guests in real-time, turning every trip into an opportunity for learning and advocacy.
This regenerative approach to ecotourism delivers social, economic, cultural, and environmental benefits to both people and the planet—and it’s central to everything we do.
Every time you join us on a tour, you’re directly contributing to our 4 Pillar initiatives. We donate to conservation organizations in the region. We earn awards and certifications that prove we’re an international, national and regional sustainability leader. We conduct and support marine science research on our vessels. And we run an annual international award-winning education program that connects thousands of local schoolchildren with their big blue back yard.
Together, we’re building a more vibrant and healthy planet—one unforgettable adventure at a time.
