What a loooooooong day! Our morning departure took us all the way up north to the Bc ferry terminal in Tsawwassen, and in the afternoon travelled to the other extreme out west in the Juan de Fuca Strait to Sombrio Beach off shore 2 miles. Whew! One of the only Victoria boats this Wednesday to see whales! Going the extra mile is a pleasure and a priviledge. Making sure that our guests have the experience of seeing these magnificent creatures in their own habitat, that we do daily...what fun. J pod in the morning porpoising at a high rate of speed north to a popular feeding ground...the Fraser River, and K / L pod west bound in a close group exhibiting the entire range of activities: feeding, playing, vocalizing, and generally just having fun.
