Whales were around but headed west on Monday beyond Port Renfrew, even out of our range.
Fortunately we were able to re-group for another day extending options for guests to re-book. It all worked out in the end.
Mother nature in the afternoon kicked up winds over 40 knots and 8'+ seas. These are unpleasant conditions.
It is a good thing that we had the forsight to cancel and not go out today.
