For the afternoon tour today the smaller and faster 12 passenger Eaglewing headed out with Captain Jeff aboard. By this time too luckily reports had come in of whales travelling from Otter Point Eastbound. Jeff decided to first head out to Race Rocks, Whirl Bay & Beecher Bay to check out some California Sea Lions, Harbour Seals & Elephant Seals, as well as Bald Eagles up in the trees.

By this time parts of K & L pods were spread out over several kilometers and were nearing Race Rocks when Eaglewing meet up with them. The animals were travelling & foraging in small groups of 1-3 together. This meant frequent longer, deeper dives. Eaglewing travelled around spending time with several different groups along the way. We followed these mammals East across the waterfront; and left them just off Trial Island at the end of our time.
