We went to the south west past Race Rocks, seriously rough seas 5-7 foot picked up the whales 2-3 miles south of Beechy Head, the mom and calf humpback. It was pretty tricky viewing them in the big waves. We spent about 45 min with them and then we came back via Race Rocks and had a nice stop in there to see the sea lions and seals, and the lighthouse in the moonlight, full moon tonight. And then we came back to the harbour for about a 9:45pm arrival time. 43 mile round trip.
