Started out at Race Rocks, we had excellent views of Stellar Sea Lions, California Sea Lions, and harbour seals. There was very heavy fog though, we could hardly see the lighthouse being only a couple hundred yards away. From Race Rocks we went south west about 9 miles just off shore of Crescent Bay were we picked up 2 humpback whales BCY0324 and her calf. For about an hour the calf was breaching, doing cartwheels and tail flips, spy hops it was just incredible viewing. The fog lifted and we ended up with really nice conditions out west did a bit of a search out by Otter Point and back along the shoreline, we picked up a bald eagle at Haystock. Round trip was 60 miles.
