We had the high speed express ride all the way to Active Pass where we picked up the whales exiting the pass near Georgina Point Light and a brilliant start to the show. All the J pod whales are grouped up, breaching, cartwheels, tail flips just a phenomenal start to our tour. We followed them into the flat calm Georgia Strait about 4 miles north east of Active Pass had really nice looks at the J-11′s the J-22′s and the J-17′s. The 2 males that we got to hang out with were Blackberry (J-27) and J-34 (Double Stuff). An excellent scenic tour through the islands and really nice flat calm water and sunshine.
