Started in Oak Bay for eagles and seals, then to Chain Islands for shore birds and diving birds then north into Haro Strait and picked up the J-16′s at Kellett Bluff, Slick, Mike, Alki and Echo very playful all grouped together excellent viewing. We followed them north to Battleship then we continued north the Turn Point where we picked up the J-14′s, group of 4 whales, Samish and her 3 kids and followed them up the Pender Bluff, then we came back south and saw the J-16′s again off Turn and continued home. 65 miles round trip (105km) with heavy rain but flat calm water.
